Remove the piercer from the sterile packaging and grip as shown, ensuring that the white plunger is in centre of thumb.

Position on the earlobe and gradually increase pressure. You will hear a 'Snap' as the restraining seal breaks. At this point the piercer 'fires' the stud through the earlobe and attaches the clasp in one quick safe and accurate procedure.

Finally pull the piercer gently downwards until free supporting the earlobe if necessary, now simply dispose of the used piercer.
